"Sunny Jazz from the center of Brazil"

Music and food are at the center of this project, which translates to 'Sessions at home'. The songs were created and recorded along with recipes. For every song, a recipe to go along with it. Everything was recorded and filmed live at the musicians living room/kitchen in Brasilia, amidst the cerrado savannah-like scenery of Brazil.

Esdras Nogueira is a saxophonist, producer and cook, with five solo albuns to his name. For nearly 20 years he was a part of Móveis Coloniais de Acaju, a band that made history in the Brazilian independent scene in the early 2000s. The saxophonist has since become a reference in the Brazilian booming indie instrumental scene, and has just released his fifth album, Lá em Casa Sessions.

Esdras's solo career began with the release of Capivara in 2014.
The debut album was a tribute to the great Hermeto Pascoal,
where Esdras dared to interpret the master’s compositions and was complimented for it.
